Deborah Quarrie-Schmalz, Vice President
Deborah brings to Conexus a wealth of experience in biomaterials and medical devices. Deborah also acts as Vice President of Business Development for Trident Biomedical, a Conexus portfolio company, which is developing commercial applications for a new class of biodegradable polymers licensed from Rutgers University. Debroah is directly responsible for identifying and developing markets for more than 50 Rutgers patents and patent applications relating to a new class of bio-degradable polymers.
Prior to Conexus, Deborah worked as Managing Director of Business Development for LBRB, a start up Software Company that she co-founded. Before her work at LBRB, Deborah was a National Account Executive for Compaq Computer Corporation with sales responsibilities in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical market.
